Lone Star Pin - Up Photography
I did an interview for my column Pinup Talk by Dianna Prince, in Delicious Dolls Magazine, with the amazingly talented Erin Shephard of Lone Star Pin - Up Photography. When I 1st began pinup modeling I researched heavily and came across this full service pinup and vintage studio. Very well known in our industry, for high quality and a true classic pinup look to every shoot. Specializing in what I consider Classic Cheesecake Pinup. Was a pleasure to interview the creative and inspiring Lone Star Pin Up Photography. The interview is below. Tell me how you started in pinup photography. With several years experience in photo retouching and graphic design, I created Lone Star Pin-up in 2008 as a way to share my love of pin-up artwork and old Hollywood glamour style with friends and family. Word of mouth quickly spread, and my studio grew from its humble garage beginnings to my first commercial space in October of 2010. We are now located in a beautiful 1930's home in historic downtown Temple, TX and love photographing ladies from all over the Lone Star State and beyond! Tell me about the services you offer your clients. We offer our clients a fun and high end experience, from professional hair and makeup styling to gorgeous wardrobe selections in our costume closet to magazine quality retouching and luxe products. We want our clients to feel like queens for a day and have some amazing portraits to showcase. What does pinup mean to you and why do you love it? I love the style, glamour, and sophisticated sexiness of women from the 1920's-1960's. It's a beautiful and nostalgic for modern girls to be able to embrace vintage style in modern times. Pin-ups are for all women and I love that!
